Our oldest kayaked for the first time two years ago and loved it. Since then he’s become very independent and quite fast. Our youngest has always been along for the ride in a tandem. For his 5th birthday he asked for a kayak on top of his birthday cake. We found a toy kayak for his cake, but even better he got his very own kayak and he is quite proud. It was amazing to see how quickly he was able to navigate on his own. Since there is a free spot now in the tandem our pup got to go on her first ride! We love that there is a lot of natural area to discover and enjoy just right outside our door.
